The Story Behind Topblume 🌸

Every woman deserves a space to grow, feel seen, and thrive — a place where her beauty, strength, and story are celebrated. That’s what Topblume is all about: a community built on a love of fashion, yes, but even more on kindness, empowerment, and the belief that when one woman blooms, she inspires others to blume to their highest flower. 

About the Founders
We’re Ally and Shelby 🍃. Our story begins back in high school at a bowling alley, where our mutual friends invited us to hang out. The moment we met, there was instant BFF magnetism. Both plus-size, clearly into fashion, we just clicked — and we’ve been inseparable ever since.

Growing Up, Blooming Together
Sometimes you don’t know who you’ll meet, but with each other, it we just knew. We shared the same values without even saying a word. Our space was safe, full of trust, laughter, and endless kindness. And, of course, like any true high school girls, we had to put our vibe to the test — cue the ultimate mall trip. 

We loved shopping and in that trip we found even more things in common. Trying to find jeans in sizes 16, 18, 20 or extra-large shirts — don’t even get us started on shoes — was a struggle. Those long hours in changing rooms, staring in mirrors that didn’t feel like us, could have been frustrating, but we had each other. Compliments, encouragement, and honest support helped us bloom in a world that barely represented us.

Thriving & Building a Vision
Those experiences shaped us. From graduating college to thriving in our respective fields, to both of us being signed to one of the biggest plus-size modeling agencies in the world, we learned the power of a safe, supportive space. It gave us the confidence to bloom — and it gave us the idea that sparked Topblume. Life is good, but it’s better when you can create a space built on values you believe in, where ideas can empower others to chase their goals.

The Birth of Topblume
Topblume isn’t just about clothes, though those are coming soon! It’s about creating a safe, empowering space for women. We designed a brand for all women, but especially for those who needed to see someone who looked like them — a reflection of their younger selves and all the experiences that shaped them. With Topblume, every woman can feel supported, celebrated, and encouraged to grow, because when you have a space like that, thriving becomes natural.
